There is no minimum spend for click and collect orders. To keep deliveries efficient, we’ve set a minimum order value of £20 for shipped orders.

If you’ve ever been to a zero-waste shop or bulk store, you might know how sustainable grocery and household shopping works. But how does that translate to online?

Choose your organic food, tell us how much you need and we’ll weigh it out for you. While weighing and packing your order, we always wear masks and follow strict hygiene measures. Bulk products like grains and pulses come in compostable paper bags.

For bulk items in Housekeeping and Health & Beauty, you get to pick your packaging. We use metal, glass and reusable/compostable material.

Once you have everything in your basket, go the checkout, choose your delivery option and pay by PayPal, Klarna, or debit/credit card.  

When your order arrives, you can decant your bulk products into storage jars for ease of use or keep them in the plastic free ziplock pouch (if you selected this with your items).

Forrist is the UK’s first online plant-based supermarket where everything is organic and almost everything is compostable or reusable. 

Instead of plastic packaging, we use paper bags for weighed-out food like pasta and rice. Wet products such as plastic-free washing up liquid come in glass jars and bottles. We also sell solid versions of products such as solid shampoo without any packaging.  

And all our accessories are either made of glass, metal, wood or organic cotton.

In terms of how we store bulk produce, we’ve made it our mission to source BPA-free and lead-free containers for your safety — and the planet’s.

We’re the only online reduced-waste shop to give you free menstrual cups and shaving oil for life. Pick one or both at the checkout.

Like everything else in our online supermarket, they don’t come in plastic packaging.

Our shaving oil is 100% Organic Coconut Oil and comes in a 30ml glass jar. It’s the natural, no-nasties way to remove unwanted hair.

Good hygiene is central to the way we work at the Forrist. We always wear masks while packaging and weighing out online grocery orders. Our business model was contactless shopping all along. 

To get your student or key worker discount, please email a copy of your work or higher education ID to hello@forrist.com . We’ll then send you a discount code to use at the checkout. 

We normally encourage sharing but in this case we ask you not to share your discount code with anyone else. It helps keep this scheme running to support our key Forrigers.

Yes, everything in our online plant-based supermarket is organic — from our groceries and bulk wholefoods to cosmetics and kitchen products. 

Put simply, organic means it hasn’t been produced using harmful chemicals or pesticides. 

We source our products from reputable organic sources. And they are all certified by the Soil Association.

In the Forrist we’re completely rethinking throwaway culture. We stock products that are designed to be earth to earth. To put a number on it, 98% of our items are compostable or reusable. If it’s compostable, that means it can go in your home compost.  

Once you’ve finished reusing an item such as a glass or metal container, you can either recycle it or return it to the Forrist. We’re still looking into the most sustainable return scheme. It could be a combination of collecting finished products and empty jars if you have local Forrist delivery or asking you to post them back to us.
